A historical and royal city like Copenhagen has a lot of squares to offer, modern and old ones,

here are my Top 4

Squares

1. Grabrødre Torv

The most beautiful square in the city centre of Copenhagen. After the loud and crowded shopping streets, you will love this silent and hidden place. The restaurants are expensive and not suitable for vegetarians, but this square with its colourful houses is like the Nyhavn, but in a calmer way.

2. "Superkilen"- The Black Square

Nørrebro

A extraordinary square with black lines all over a white ground. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed. It has some playground elements and families meet there. If you have the time, you can go for a walk ( North direction),it`s like a big playground and the graffiti is amazing.

3. Amalienborg ( see : Header/Title Photo on the top)

The square is surrounded by the Amalienborg castle and has a historial monument in the middle. You can see the changing and a-marching of the Queens guard. You also get a perfect view on the opera and the castle church.

4. Nørrebro Cemetery

I have to admit that i couldn`t really decide where i should put this place...Relax? SO put it into Squares. My brother found it weird to visit a cemetery, and i agree, but it`s such a peaceful place and the locals use it as a park and bicycle way.
And you can visit the grave of Hans Christian Andersen.
